German Online School was founded in 2009 after discovering the lack of affordable German schools in countries such as Nicaragua. Christoph, a young professional from Switzerland and current owner and teacher of the school, started teaching the German language to interested students. The gain to capture the American market lead to the foundation of German Online School.
